Listening to Omnicron Girls is a voyage through space and synthesis. Its tone carries something dark and uncanny about it which is difficult to pinpoint. Maybe that's just because it was made on the other side of the world (Russia)... or, just maybe... an alien parasite soul lurks within, waiting to feed. Keith Rankin's incredible 21st Century-Dark Side of the Moon art brings the message home. Disclaimer: this album will probably puncture a hole in your head and cause you to leak rainbows out of your skull. Do it. Let those hooks sink in, it's worth it! ;-)

Songs careen through various territories ranging from simple keyboard lines over  ____-wave boom bap (occasionally verging on robo-Dilla) to ambient cyborg mini-symphonies sharing the cerebral atmosphere of some works by Klaus Schulze, Harmonia & other electronic kraut heros. All this updated with clouds of sliced vocals (hence the alphabets reference) and the occasional guitar (?) melody. Importantly, the entire affair is mixed and sequenced to keep the ride smooth so the butterflies don't turn into nausea.
