 American model Chanel Iman turned 21 yesterday, and to celebrate the big day, she has decided to rent out a whole private island off the coast of Jamaica. While on the set of a Victoria’s Secret PINK photo shoot, Chanel commented that the party was a spur of the moment thing, and will be reggae themed:

“We’ve been talking about it all day, I’m going to Jamaica. Me, my family and my closest friends are staying at a really cool resort called Round Hill and I’m going to throw a reggae-themed party on this island.”

 When asked what her first legal drink will be, Chanel says it will be rum based:

“I’m pretty sure in Jamaica you don’t have to be 21, but my first, um, American legal drink…I guess like rum. I’m a rum girl. Maybe a Pina Colada.”

Chanel says that she planned the party at the last minute because her schedule is so hectic:

“My whole life is like last minute, I never know what I’m really doing until maybe a week or even a few days before. This party was planned three days ago!”
