Australian model Miranda Kerr headed to Sydney to attend the reception for Louis Vuitton's Maison opening -the new Sydney store is 1 of only 13 in the world joining Paris, Tokyo, London and New York. The new store will also offer a 'Made to Order' service that will allow women to create custom handbags while shoes and belts can be custom made for men.  For the opening event, Miranda graced the red carpet in a stunning Louis Vuitton dress taken from the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, which she paired with red lipstick, a tidy hairdo and a black clutch. Speaking at the event, chairman and CEO Yves Carcelle of the new store commented:

"High-end tourists are looking for beautiful landscapes, nice food by the water, but also interesting stores, I think that by investing in a place like Sydney we contribute to the reputation of the city. We bring something unique to the world, they may not buy the bigger apartment they were dreaming of or increase the size of their boat but (they say) 'I can afford a pair of shoes or a nice bag'."
